The Event is hosted by the CEDC in partnership with Allegany County Tourism, the Downtown Development Commission, the Small Business Development Corporation, the Downtown Cumberland Business Association, and Maryland PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy initiative) and will feature a walking tour of available commercial real estate as well as interaction with community and business leaders from the partnership organizations.

Economic prospects for Cumberland’s future are bright. The CEDC is currently working with several businesses in a variety of fields who are looking to expand operations, relocate or commence operations in the Queen City.

“Now is the time to consider Cumberland,” says Acting Executive Director Matt Miller. “Public infrastructure is being upgraded and fiber connectivity is being installed.
